Parade Participants
  • Download an Participant Packet which includes the participant application, the rules, and the Hold Harmless/Liability forms.
  • Print both forms.
  • Complete forms and sign.
  • Deliver or mail to Loganville Parade Committee.
  • If you are a business or political entry include payment.
  • Deadline to submit is June 18, 2010.
  • An official notification will be sent to you informing you of the position of your group within the parade.
  • Line up of the 4th of July no later than 8:00 am. Note on Judging: units must be in position in the assembly area by 9:00 am to qualify for judging.

Vendor Information
Do you have something to showcase? Are you crafty and want to sell you wares? Are you a not for profit organization and want to get your message out? Do you want to reach a large group of people that are in the patriotic spirit to showcase you or your business? If you answered yes to any of these, we have the opportunity for you. We are offering, on a first come, first serve basis, vendor spots for only $30.00 per spot for non-food vendors and $50 per spot for food vendors.

Fill out the Vendor Packet, send the application to the Loganville Parade Committee no later than June 18, 2010 and you can have a location at the 4th of July parade.

Rules and Regulations
  1. The Loganville Parade Committee reserves the right to remove any entry from the parade that does not comply with instructions from Parade Officials.
  2. Floats must be fire-retardant, carry a regulation fire extinguisher and have restraints for all float personnel. The driver must have a 180 degree field of vision and carry a valid driver’s license.
  3. No smoking on or near a float at any time.
  4. Units are limited to a maximum height of 14 feet.
  5. Car clubs are limited to a maximum of 10 vehicles in their entry and vehicles should be decorated in a patriotic fashion.
  6. Only entries that have paid the Commercial Entry Fee may carry or display a commercial or political message.
  7. Once the parade starts moving, please maintain a 30 foot space between entries and limit any performance to the area in front of the reviewing stands.
  8. Marching units, floats and vehicles must maintain forward movement. Do not stop on the route for performances as it impacts the entire parade.
  9. All equestrian or animal entries must have their own clean up crew.
  10. Any unit that is considered unsafe by Parade Staff and will be removed from the parade.
 
Safety Guidelines
  • No material (such as candy, literature, product samples, favors, etc.) may be thrown from vehicles or by walkers. This draws children into the street and into the path of vehicles. Parade participants may walk along the parade route and hand such items directly to spectators.
  • No water or other material spraying devices may be used by parade participants along the parade route.
  • Parade participants may not jump off of and back onto a moving vehicle in the parade.
  • All riders on a moving vehicle must remain seated or be strapped in securely.
  • No performances from moving vehicles are allowed.
  • Consumption of and/or possession of alcoholic beverages or illegal substances is forbidden.
